Rebrand of a franchise where art and architecture interconnect.
When you hear the name Johann König, you might immediately think of the Galerie König of the same name, which he opened in 2002 together with his wife Lena in St. Agnes Church in Berlin. The name has grown steadily as a brand over time and so new segments have also been added, such as a podcast, magazines and an AR app. The challenge here was to create a design system that is dynamic and expandable for segments that may be added. Furthermore, is not only the art conceptual, but also the architecture of the brutalist St. Agnes Church, which should be included in the design. This work was done in the context of a university project.
